QAD Repetitive manufacturing là quá trình sản xuất dựa vào việc lập kế hoạch sản xuất theo từng thời kỳ, và hàng loạt với số lượng lớn các sản phẩm không có khác biệt nhau quá lớn, khác với Discrete Manufacturing sản xuất dựa trên lệnh sản xuất (Work Order)

- Sản phẩm không thay đổi trong 1 khoảng thời gian dài
- Quy trình sản xuất đơn giản.
- Bán thành phẩm thường được chuyển trực tiếp qua giai đoạn tiếp mà ko đc lưu tạm tại kho như Discrete Manufacturing
- Nguyên vật liệu được bố trí tại các giai đoạn.
- Sản xuất được tiến hành bởi những lệnh sản xuất riêng biệt Work Order
- Sản phẩm: Thay đổi thường xuyên
- Quy trình: Phức tạp
- Có bán thành phẩm, bán thành phẩm được tạm lưu kho trước khi chuyển qua giai đoạn khác
- Nguyên vật liệu tại các giai đoạn cần được tham chiếu đến từng lệnh sản xuất cụ thể khi cần xuất ra dùng cho sản xuất.
- Sản xuất với số lượng cố định và lớn trong một khoảng thời gian theo lịch trình được lập sẵn
- Sản phẩm: Không thay đổi trong một khoảng thời gian
- Quy trình: Đơn giản
- Bán thành phẩm sau mỗi giai đoạn được chuyển trự tiếp qua giai đoạn tiếp ( Không lưu tạm tại kho)
- Nguyên vật liệu được bố trị tại từng giai đoạn mà không cần phải tham chiếu đến một thứ tự cụ thể của quy trình trong sản xuất.
